In reply to Dorota. @Dorota Italy is a great country, one of my favourites as well. I'll be launching a hiking tour in the region in the next few weeks, so be sure to watch for that. Spring and fall are great times to go. Not as busy and the weather is cooler which is great for hiking.

Great post! I had no idea that Cinque Terre was actually five fishing villages and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The landscape looks breathtaking and the architecture seems unique and fun. I would love to set up one of my tours there. It looks like a truly magical place. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this article, I need to make notes of these tips before planning my trip! I love Italy, if I had to choose one country in the world where I could move from my beautiful Poland, I’d choose Italy with no hesitation. I love the language, the people, the cuisine – and the hikes and views. I need to think about Cinque Terre for next spring before the season starts 🙂
