@Alex – I haven’t hiked in Wales at all, unfortunately. If you do it, let me know how it is.

Have you ever hiked up Mt Snowdon in Wales? I’m thinking of doing it this year and wanted to know if you need training?

@Sarah – I was a regular hiker (every weekend) and was very active until about a month before my trip. I’d recommend regular hiking before jumping in as it’s tiring doing day after day and you want to be able to enjoy it.

I was reading you went in to it from a sloth state. I’ve not been exercising for a year but funnily when I hit a mountain I seem to still have more power and strength than most. Would I be ok to just jump in and do it? I have previous hiking experience and super fit…….a year ago,

I once had a trip to Eagles walk in Austria, I bought new sport shoes and trek for a whole day until my feet cannot endure the hardness and the tightness,
I remembered one old proverb: There’re three things that will be better over the time: friends, wine and shoes. 🙂

@Agness – I don’t usually do anything special to prepare since I hike once a week and am active with cycling, running and yoga the rest of the week. So far, that’s been enough.
