I have never really traveled in Europe sort of always preferred the more out of the way places but recently I spent some time in the UK and have sort of got the bug for some more travel in that area. As for Ostend I too have not surprisingly never heard of it but it certainly seems like somewhere to make sure i see during my trip.

I never would have thought of Belgium with seaside towns either but this one looks like a great place to go during warmer weather. I hadn’t heard of Ostend either but it sounds like a foodie paradise too. I’m very curious about the sardine ice cream 🙂

Been in Belgium a million times, yet I’ve never made it to Oostende. Never thought I missed out on anything in particular, but it looks like I was wrong. Seems like a nice town for a short break.

I love this kind of all around experience — food, history, walks, physical activity. Oostende looks like a good place for that. The appetizer dish looks like a work of art. The hubby would LOVE the sardine ice cream at Savarin, but I’m sure I could find plenty to enjoy in the 7 courses.
