Beautiful photos! A hike to the top probably isn’t in my future but a 10k hike is much more manageable! Something to consider for my next visit.

The name ‘Olympus’ was given to the palace of the gods. The names of the main Roman Olympians were Jupiter, Juno, Mars, Minerva, Neptune, Vesta, Apollo, Venus, Ceres and Diana.

A great place, well worth a visit. Climbed to the lower summit last September, though weather not too good either. Can recommend staying at small refuge C on plateau of muses.
