I went to Germany and the Czech Republic this summer. I fell in love. As soon as I came back to the States, I learned how to make it and am now searching out a mint plant so I can have Hugos all the time.

I love the Hugo, brought my syrup back from Germany to make this cocktail in sunny South Africa this summer. Definitely my favourite German drink. The Hot Hugo is equally amazing as a gluwein.

I love these, also without wine and mineralwater or ginger ale instead. Was a great hit at my last summer party.
