Laurel this looks truly amazing. It is honestly one of my dreams to go on an Arctic Safari like this. What a life changing experience. I cannot believe how much wildlife there is! Polar Bears!? Yes!! I will have to start looking at tickets. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Hi Laurel, I really enjoyed reading this. I went on the Arctic Explorer trip with AC last year. It’s pretty much the same as the Safari, but goes in the opposite direction.

In reply to nellie. @Nellie - It truly was epic and I loved Ilulissat. Would definitely love to return to Greenland and explore Nuuk. I haven't been to the Norwegian Arctic but that sounds incredible too.

Man this looks truly epic! I was just in Greenland at around the same time as you, but I was only in Nuuk and the surrounding fjords. Wish I made it up to Ilulissat! Your pictures remind me of Svalbard in the Norwegian Arctic – I went on an expedition cruise that circumnavigated the island and we saw so much wildlife. I would love to explore the Canadian Arctic in future too.
