Very nice post and photography. There’s also a small municipal airport in Drumheller. CEG4 is just north of the Midland Provincial Park marker on this map. A good alternative for pilots and friends of pilots with small planes. 3500×75 ft asphalt runway at 2599′ msl. Call for ground transportation info.

Great Posts, Incredible pictures and of the mountains hiking in their fabulous destination. The hike down and back up can be quite a challenge especially if you head down the West side of the canyon near the parking area. Great view of the canyon even if you don’t do the hike. A great way to spend an afternoon if you are into hiking and exploring.

Drumheller and area is one of my favourite places as well. I took my 12 year old grandson there 2 years ago and we had so much fun. I included many of these places in my book Amanda in Alberta- The Writing on the Stone. Your article and pictures are excellent!
