Mis imágenes.

No sé de qué películas hablan ustedes. Se trata de una película negativa de 35 mm común y corriente. Y no sé de qué registro hablan porque el registro son los negativos originales o es que para colocar algo aqui hay que ver a REGUSPATOFF para que lo registre y pregunto de nuevo ¿quién lo hace? ¿Registran ustedes todas las fotos que hacen? Eso es absurdo. Tengo cientos de fotos tiradas en todo el mundo en soporte analógico o digital, algunas históricas como la del primer cosmonauta latinoamericano y geográficas como la catarata del río Potaro y fotos que han ganado premios y menciones. Pero ninguna está registrada sino en las películas originales o las memorias de las cámaras digitales. Como no están registradas, y según ustedes tienen que estarlo, no las puedo colocar aqui. Patético que miles de fotos no se puedan colocar aqui para el uso común de todos porque pueden ser propiedad también de novenas y décimas partes. Me he dedicado a la fotografía como hobby desde que tenía 10 años, domino el cuarto obscuro con sus químicas y técnicas y la fotografía digital, soy casi profesional pero no me interesa hacer dinero de mis fotos porque no las necesito para vivir. Pues en principio el permiso lo tiene que dar quien hizo la fotografía (i.e. el profesor J.M. Giráldez) el cual es presumiblemente quien ostenta los derechos de autor sobre la imagen, y quien puede decidir qué licencia libre utilizar (y por tanto qué derechos concede y cuáles no). Entonces podrás indicar la licencia libre bajo la cual está publicada la fotografía (se puede consultar información sobre las licencias apropiadas aquí y aquí, aunque para evitaros una lectura farragosa las más comunes son cc-by-sa y cc-by). Has añadido una etiqueta de borrado en la imagen que yo levanté a commons File:DinoInformatico.jpg. Aunque no entiendo la razón y la explicación para resolverlo es bastante confusa, agregué la etiqueta self/GFDL como se sugiere.

Esta es una fotografía que yo tomé en la muestra Tecnópolis de Buenos Aires, en septiembre de 2011, retocada luego con Photopaint. La subi para reemplazar otra que me borraron sin ninguna razón.

Me parece que se está sobreinterpretando el concepto de «trabajo derivado». Esto aplica si la foto es de un objeto cuya reproducción ya tenía derechos, por ejemplo, una escultura o una pintura. Con ese criterio debieran borrarse de commons todas las fotografías en que aparezcan edificios, barcos, automóviles, muebles, o cualquier cosa diseñada o fabricada por manos humanas. Este es solamente un muñeco, expuesto en forma permanente en un espacio público. No hay derechos de autor registrados para esos objetos ya que son solamente reproducciones ilustrativas y no obras de arte.

category:buildings in xxx

Hi, I noticed that you removed Spain from the Buildings in Spain. The ideal structure depends from what angle you look at the category tree. If you look at the conceptual level, one has to go via country - culture - architecture - structures to arrive at a building. If you look from the organisation perspective, then you have to go via country - city - quarters - streets/squares before you come to your building. If you look from the guy that brings a new picture (mostly of buildings, such as "wiki loves monuments"), you want city - buildings, no more.

And yes, we have to think bottom up too. Many, if not most, towns and cities start with a first structural category "Buildings in ...". This is often the trigger for further category structure developments, why I always place it at the parent level in a systematic way at all levels. People need to see a consistent model that they can clone easily. You don't want people to create for each town a art, culture, architecture, structure or geography category before they can start building categories. If Commons can still grow without too much pain (more than 2.33 million cats), it is thanks to category consistency and the fact that people can easily clone structures. If have seen many cities that have a nearly empty architecture in xxx cat to have a similar structure as the higher level cat, which makes no sense for nobody. --Foroa (talk) 17:55, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

As you can suppose I was trying to avoid over-categorization, but hadn't thought about that category being a direct model to other new lower-level categories. That's because I assume people will tend to clone the category structure more easily from similar pre-existing categories such other cities or towns than from higher levels, like countries. However I see your point, empty transition categories are problematic and if you think this mitigates the creation of new useless architecture categories it's ok to me. Gracias por tu respuesta. He estado investigando un poco y el dueño de las fotos es un tal Amoluc que es habitual de la Ferropedia y de otras wikis y miembro de una asociación de amigos del ferrocarril. El archivo original lo colgó el mismo en una wikia anterior en 2008 y luego otro usuarios la subió en 2011 con la misma licencia. Es un usuario que tiene mucho material libre y me parece una pena que no se pueda aprovechar. ¿No sé podría resolver sin mayores trámites burocráticos? Saludos y gracias. Category:Crema (falles)

Both terms are in use, and even "crema" seems to be lingüistically more accurate, "cremà" also seems to be more used. After googleing in "fallas.com" (offical website of the JCF, the organisation who makes the festival maybe We should take "cremà" as the good one, because its more common. Maybe if a good reliable source appears argumentating why "crema" is more accurate than "cremà" We should consider the change. Notice (in the google link) that "L'Antiga" (the old one[of Campanar, a neighbourhood in Valencia]) used crema in 2011 but cremà in 2012. IMO, undo the renaming to "la cremà", close the discussion, and re-open it only if someone gives us some source explaining why "crema" is prefered to "cremà" by linguists. I'll if I find it. Until sources are not showed, "cremà" seems to have more use, so it should be prefered. Category:Matches of FC Barcelona

Hello Lobo, the subcategories should be uniformed to the standard nomenclature "Matches of ....". I also noticed that other categories in Category:FC Barcelona are out of standard. I have no problem with the change of nomenclature, but note that the category Category:FC Barcelona matches was created in 2009, following other initial categories like Category:Arsenal F.C. matches and long before any so-called 'standard nomenclature'. Please pay also attention to this for the future before leaving such messages. The subcategories were just built in 2012 with the same structure than the parent category, and as far as I know there was still no uniform nomenclature at that time. Yes, much work is still to be done, I agree with you. Actually the first nomenclature was like Category:Americans and their subsets (see also Category:American basketball players, because they were "inherited" from en.wiki. But in order to be more specific, the choosen standard on Commons was "Subject (either people, team, firm, and so on) of / in / from Country" because, i.e. for an English speaker American can be a citizen of the U.S.A., but for the rest of the world isn't necessarily so, and this is an interlinguistic and international project, not only for native or near - native speaker of English. Thus the nomenclature privileges the country, not the nationality, and the syntyax privileges the "subject OF something" rather that "something subject". -- SERGIO ^{(aka the Blackcat)} 15:33, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Flower offerings

Una altra opció seria "Flower tributes", però crec que en anglès s'usa més el terme "Flower offerings" (a google trobo 35,000 resultats del primer, i 13,000 del segon. De fet, Flower offerings pot vincular-se tant a ofrenes religioses com civils. La paraula offering pot tenir aquests significats: 1. something offered in worship or devotion. 2. a contribution given to or through the church. 3. anything offered as a gift. 4. something presented for inspection or sale. 5. the act of one who offers. La definició 3 encaixa amb el tribut a Rafael de Casanoves. Cups of coffee, etc

Yeah, i thought that was how they were supposed to be used, but i noticed that there were so many images of cups with coffee in the coffee cups category, i decided to do what i did. Do you think it would be helpful if i tried to clear out from each category items which may only need to be in specific ones, or is it too much of a mish mash to try? i seem to have some motivation to recategorize, as you can probably tell. I havent checked the edit histories yet, but if you reverted, i wont re-revert without discussing it first. I am also open to placing text in each category explaining exactly how they are to be used, with links to the parallel categories (ie "for cups with coffee in them, see Category:cups of coffee")Mercurywoodrose (talk) 16:50, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

Category:Alameda estaba categorizada en Category:Santiago de Compostela. Ninguna de las fotos se corresponden con Santiago de Compostela, por lo que he retirado la categoría superior. Hi Alva2004, the main problem is that the contents of the screenshot must be free licensed or be non-copyrightable, and it doesn't seem to be the case, even if you purchased a license of use, since the terms of use of the software avalaible on the company website says nothing about the contents generated by their software being under a free license. However, I didn't read the license agreement and may be wrong about it, but unless it explicitly grants you the copyright of the contents generated by the software, you should not suppose that. Petición sobre página de usuario

Solicite un cambio de nombre de usuario debido a que en la red ya existía alguien que lo utilizaba y no quería que aconteciesen confusiones. Los administradores eliminaron el usuario en Wikipedia, pero me percate hace poco que todavía existe una página de usuario en Wikipedia Commons que conserva mi anterior nombre de usuario, a pesar de que se me fue creada una página con mi nuevo nombre. Estuve consultando por Wikipedia, y me recomendaron contactar con un administrador, para que, por favor, pudiese eliminarla.
